I don’t know if I’m not meant to have that moment with my dress… but it sure would make it easier to choose! Can you give me your opinions on these?
I love the neckline of the dress with the flower strap. I would add a second plain strap on the other side, like the one there, but probably move it more into the middle. But I’m not sure if it is just too boring. I love the thought of it and me in pictures, but not in person. This is a very pretty dress.
I think the dress with a bit of lace and sparkle is truly beautiful, but I’m worried about the bust area. Need to make sure that I don’t fall out or show too much cleavage! The dress is two sizes too small, so keep that in mind. I just can’t picture what it would look like in my size and if we alter it to have a neckline like the first dress. This is a gorgeous dress in person, but I don’t know if I can pull it off.
I’ll try to add a poll to make it easier.
ETA – sorry this is in the wrong board. Hopefully it can be moved to the dress board!

I like dress #2 because I’m not big on jewelry so the lace and details will give your look some oomph. Have you spoken to the seamstress on how the neckline would be altered? But if you’re planning to wear some statement pieces, dress #1 will work as well.

I like #1, but I think you should get matching straps. Perhaps you could order material from the designer to match the original strap, or you could have a seamstress make 2 new straps. If that’s not an option, then I’d keep looking.

I honestly voted keep looking. I like the way the top of the first dress looks on you, but I’m not crazy about the added strap. It just looks out of place with the pretty flower strap. But the bottom half isn’t as flattering as the second dress bottom. The second dress I’m not feeling the top at all. But the bottom is super flattering on you. I like the second dress, and I tried on a few with similar neck lines. Even the ones that fit me well just didn’t look right up top. I was sad because I love that neckline. I’m trying to imagine what the second dress would look like with a different top. But since I’m in the teeny tiny boobie club, I can’t really offer any real life suggestions on that part. 🙁 Finding a dress can definitely be frustrating!!!! But if you personally aren’t absolutely in love with either of these, don’t give up! (I think I tried 140 dresses on before I figured it out!) 🙂

I totally prefer #1 on you, but would suggest a second matching strap rather than the palin one.

I voted number 2 because its very flattering for your figure.

Dress #2 gets my vote. If you go up two sizes, there will be lots more room in the bust! I’m guessing the amount of skin showing then would be very tasteful. It is very pretty!

i think #2, with no alterations, in your size, would be phenomenal!

If you aren’t totally sold, why not keep looking??

I like the first dress because it is more simple. But I would either stick with the one pretty flower strap or get 2 matching ones. I don’t like the mis-matched strap look.
Also, if you are worried about dress #1 being too plain, maybe you could add a beaded sash. It might end up making the dress too busy with all of the other flowers, but doesn’t hurt to look!

You have time to keep looking and I think you should. How many dresses have your tried on and have you gone to different stores?

I would keep looking. You need to be sure

Of the two, I like #1 the best (with the plain strap), but I voted other, because I think it is worth looking more. What is your price range? Maybe we could help with suggestions better then 🙂

I really love Dress 2. Try it with an extra piece of fabric across the chest area (like lace where the dress comes to a V) and see if you like the altered neckline. If you don’t, then keep looking, but I really do think the shape of Dress 2 is flattering. Good luck!
