I think half up, half down would be very pretty with your face. It will be a jazzed up version of your everyday self! Something like this, perhaps:

If your hair doesnt hold a curl, you can do a soft braided up do? Like these…

do you think you’d be more comfortable with your hair up or down?

My hair is exactly like yours, it’s super fine and thin and doesn’t hold a curl or volulmize. I think the best thing to do here is to do a full up-do. If you do a curly half-do and your hair is anything like mine then it will just be limp and flat. I would consider something like these.

Yeah my hair doesn’t hold curl well and when talking with my hair stylist she said to do an updo, especially with the wedding outside as well.

You can do soft, low curls with some hanging tendrils to frame your face.

Although your hair is a good length, I think for some of the styles suggested above, it seems a little too fine.  If you’re open to it and if your budget allows, maybe look into getting extensions to really give the illusion of fullness (even if you keep your hair up, like pictured in the braid).  These should also help in holding the curl, if you’re planning on going this route.

Edit:  Also, try to add volume to the roots of your hair with teasing to even out the heaviness at the bottom of your hair.  Maybe get a decent curler and try different things at home and see what you like.  There are some great tutorials on youtube that are helpful for beginners πŸ™‚

I like the first photo with half up half down. πŸ™‚

This is how I wore my hair. There were lots of things sprayed into it (oh, and 74 bobby pins holding it together), I will say it held up well during the day. Loved what the hairstylist did.  My hair isn’t as straight as yours, but it is fairly fine.
