Hi bees! I have to decide on the general style I want to wear my hair in the next couple of days so I can send a pic to the etsy lady that’s making our custom cake topper. I can’t decide bw 1/2 up, all up, or to the side; naturally curly, blown out/curled; headband, pins/combs, flowers…omg..and I need 2 do’s-1 for ceremony, 1 for ttd. BUt I’ll focus on the general style first. For reference getting married on the beach, want a soft/romantic look for the ceremony. Prefer to wear a veil… Dress is lace
1/2 up with pins-(would not be as messy) 1/2 up w/headband (not actual hb)
all up–(I’m just holding it up-it would look better done properly)
blown out & pulled to the side- with pins with headband
Please bear in mind wind/humidity…..the headband i used is just a piece of lace since my dress is lace. Not sure if my hair is long enough for the last one..maybe?

I think option #3 is soft and elegant

I like the third best but you said the first two were messy replicants so i am not sure. Smile in some of them too! Which one do you like best?

@afuturemrsl: lol !! I was concentrating hahaha 🙂 And I absolutely hate taking pictures!! I don’t know which one I like best…The last one is cute but is it too short? Plus I worry about how it will hold up with the wind/humity..I don’t want the shorter layers to be blowing in my face & sticking to my lips!! Like I said tho, I need 2 do’s, so that confuses it even more. If I do curly (natural) for the ceremony, I cant do the straight one the next morning bc we do the TTD around sunrise and it takes 30 minutes just to dry it…I could go from straight for ceremony to curly for TTD though. Ugh…it’s making me crazy!!!

I think the third one looks best… Soft and romantic!

Go from straight to curly, then. I think all the looks are gorgeous, honestly–I wish I had hair like yours! The straight look is really elegant, but I’m a huge fan of natural, too. So my vote is #3 for the ceremony and #2 for the TTD.

Ok, so I love the blown out to the side.
BUT (big but)
Beach = wind = quickly ruined down hairstyle. If you aren’t facing the wind so that it keeps your hair blown to that one side the entire time you are outside at the beach, it’s going to get ruined, or you could spend your entire ceremony with your hair in your face.
Just something to think about!

@crayfish: I agree. I voted for hair on the side but the more I think of it 1/2 up curly would look better with the lace dress in my opinion.

@crayfish: that’s exactly what I’m thinking about!! and I don’t want that for sure!! If I do that style, I will have to keep it somewhat contained by a headband or pins or something…
And I want to use flowers for the TTD (not these styles necessarily)

Thanks for all your input ladies 🙂 After going back & forth and seeing another brides pics last night that wore her hair to the side and got married on the beach, I decided to go with the up-do for the ceremony. Her hair was all in her face in the pics and that would drive me crazy plus although her hair looked great, it kind of messed up some of the pics..So that was my thoughts last night/this morning….But now I look at it again, I’m waffling…I ‘think’ the front of mine is longer than hers so maybe it would stay put if it was pinned under the headband…
But how would that style look with a veil? My initial vision was to wear a waist length veil tucked up under an up do….I could wear it a little higher with the side style I guess…someone on here did that and it looked good.

I absolutely love the third hairstyle. And I think that your hair is long enough. It looks so elegant against your elegant dress.
