I voted “No Way”. I’ve still go my fingers crossed though.

I know he said his timeline is roughly around March this year (so soon if he keeps his word) but I don’t it will be Valentine’s Day because I just don’t think a V-Day proposal is his style. Besides, bith our birthdays are in February/March along with our anniversary in April, so I think one of those occasions is more likely.

But the suspense of waiting! I’m so jumpy & excited about it all.

SO and I went ring shopping on Saturday. I teased him about needing the ring in time for his big Valentine’s Day proposal. He literally answered, “No way!” Neither of us are big Valentine’s people, so I am 100% sure it is not happening on February 14 πŸ™‚ In other news, the jewelry store was packed, so I’m sure some ladies will be getting rings!

I didnt get a Valentines Day Proposal.  However, I did get one on the 17th of Feb.  I asked my now Fiance why he didnt use Valentines Day instead.  He said “because thats just to predicatable” lol.

So you never really can tell with these things

I said “no way”. I don’t think he even has a ring yet, but even I’d he did, we don’t make a big deal out of Valentine’s day. It’s just not us.

That said, I wouldn’t turn down a proposal!

I said no way. He told me I have a big surprise between my birthday and valentines day (my birthday is the 9th). I love Valentines day but I don’t think he will do it then because he knows I’m expecting it and it would be too predictable. I’m still crossing my fingers though πŸ™‚

I was another vote for “no way”.  SO only graduated from college a week and a half ago, so he’s broke (but has started the screening process to be a paramedic somewhere *fingers crossed*).  He’s also said that it isn’t going to happen by the end of the year, which wouldn’t bother me except for the fact that not being engaged/married means I’ll be excluded from his family’s Christmas this year (despite having spent the last three together… but that could get me ranting for days, so I won’t get into that).

Yea, i’m pretty sure Valentines Day is the only day of the year I KNOW he won’t propose. He is a big fan of surprises, and told me he will do it when i least expect it.

I know it won’t happen for valentine’s, but mostly because he won’t be in the same state. I’ve got my fingers crossed for the next weekend though! He paid for the ring back in Nov, so if it’s finished and in his possession there could be a chance. Trying not to think about it lol.

Yeah my SO is doing a summer school course to finish his degree quicker and his exam is the day after Valentine’s Day. So I’m definitely in the “I’ll be lucky if he gets me flowers” camp but it’s ok since we’ll be celebrating his birthday/our monthly anniversary later this month anyway.

Plus I know for a fact that he’s not proposing until after the end of June or after September when he graduates. Grrrr… will it be sad if I send myself flowers? πŸ˜›

No… My SO wouldn’t tell me what year, but he told me it would be in May. Whether it is May of this year or not is another question…

We won’t be seeing each other on Valentines this year so it’s definitely not happening.

My guy said he would never do it on a holiday because it’s too cliche.

Im hoping for a before V Day proposal. My ring is suppose to be ready this week but I have no idea if he has already heard from the jeweler. He has always been the type to say no to a holiday cliched proposal but this timing is simply how ordering my ring before Christmas worked out. I kind of don’t want a holiday proposal and would much rather it happen sometime this weekend but then again he could make me wait until next month. Who knows…
