If that was the type of guy he was, show-offy and a prankster, and I loved that about him, I would say sure…. At least he put some thought into it.

It’s so not Mr. Aardvark’s style though, I don’t know what I would have done had he popped the question that way.

I saw that video.  I thought it was so creative!  Clearly she wasn’t upset about it after she realized he was okay and they were all laughing in the end.  At least it’s memorable!

That terrifies me just thinking about it.  Thankfully SO isn’t that sort of guy.  I think I would have a heart attack if that happened to me!

I did not know what to vote for. I thought it was idiotic…. I don’t think I would even date someone like that… whats wrong with just a dinner by candle light and him in his best shirt?

For all anyone knows they might be avid skydivers, cave divers or who knows what.  If this sort of thing works for them, I say it’s awesome.  She wasn’t upset at the end, so no harm done.  She probably would expect it from him in hindsight.

When people say things like, “I don’t understand why grown adults need to put on a show” or “it was idiotic” it just goes to show that maybe a more open mind is needed.  It’s definitely not how I’d want it to happen to me, but I wouldn’t think badly of another couple who had it happen that way.  It works for them, makes a good story, and that’s all that matters.

Sorry, my opinion was asked and my opinion is that it was idiotic. If you are okay with it, then thats your opinion.

Actually…no I am not sorry, it was my opinion! Undecided
