@MsW-to-MrsM:  A coworker has one from JTV in 2 carat size. I don’t see any color at least under florescent lighting! Although some of the bees post here and even with the FB and amora treatment sometimes there’s alot of color. Since you mentioned you want others to think its an actual diamond, keep in mind a 2 carat perfect appearing diamond would be $25000 or more…

You said you’re on a budget so I thought I would repost this from a few days ago:

Heres  a CC MOISSANITE on JTV for $199:

    nother C&C MOISSANITE RING (1 ct diamond equivalent) for $199 @ JTV.COM:

Shopnbc, jtv and moissanite.co has others, a simple gold setting you could get a large moissanite for $600 or so! (compared to $$12,000-25,000 for a quality ethically sourced diamond in same setting) Moissanite is a lot of bling for the buck!

Good luck! Post a pic when you choose your moissanite ring!

@MsW-to-MrsM:  Can you post pics or links to the ones you are interested in?  I would definitely and absolutely go for the 3/4 unenhanced.  I don’t think you’ll see color.  I have a 1/2 unenhanced and it looks 100% white 100% of the time!  Even in yellow gold!

@MsW-to-MrsM:   I know this isn’t exactly what you want but I went to blueniles for the heck of it:

that ring is a decent 1/3 ct diamond and a white gold band for $550 I think.

James allen does that too. You pick the stone and the ring. I know it’s smaller than you want but just throwing it out there too. You’re getting alot of good suggetions. good luck!

@MsW-to-MrsM:  I’d like to suggest that no matter what size stone you get, it’s best to have it in gold setting. My sis-in-law got her e-ring from JTV it was set in plated silver and she had to reset it in gold within the 1st year bcuz the band got all scratched up and ugly…just saying.

Maybe it was just her skin having bad reaction to the plated metal…?
