I really like the name Hannah! It’s a little popular, but at the same time I think it’s a solid choice- like in 20 years it won’t seem outdated. Plus I like that it’s a palindrome.

I’ve always liked the name Hannah. I think it’s pretty and I don’t know very many Hannahs.

I don’t dislike Hannah and I don’t love it. I’m just indifferent to it. It’s not a wacky name and it’s not dated either, but it’s really common where I’m from so it’s just a “meh” name to me.

I feel like I know 100000 Hannah’s so that is one of the main reasons why I dislike it as a first name. I love Hannah for a middle name

It seems very 90s to me.

I know two Hannahs, one pronounces it hannah like banana the other is hannah like sauna.

    I like both versions.

Love it, traditional (Old Testament I think?)  pretty , spelt  correctly and suits a child or a woman  equally .

I’m indifferent. It’s pretty common where I’m from but I don’t hate it.

    teacher-bee-in-the-sea :

She pronounces Hannah as Hauna?  And the other Harna.? How odd, both of them.  Do  you think they are  (correct) foreign  pronunciations  or just ignorance lol?

elderbee :  I’ve never heard of a ‘hauna’ but I do know a couple of ‘Harnas’ (spelled Hana).

I think it’s a very pretty traditional name, but it’s crazy popular in Australia at the moment. The boy I babysit has 2 Hannahs in his class and 3 in the class above him, he goes to a small school!
