I love these, so I thought I’d throw mine into the mix.
We’re currently in the middle of a 72 hour “trial” period to see if this little girl will be a good fit to our family. Pretty sure we’re going to keep her, but we need a freaking name! She’s a lab/pit mix, a little over a year old, and fully grown at 40lbs. The shelter named her Sandy, but we’re not fans of it.
Apparently she’s gonna be a huge daddy’s girl!
Also, certain names are already taken by other family member’s pets so they’re a no go. Bailey (our current dog), Sadie, and Chloe are out!

She is super cute though(:

She’s adorable. I have a friend with a pit/lab mix named Lexus

Zinnia but you could call her Zinnie as a nickname 🙂

Hmmm, I hadn’t thought of Daisy, that’s cute!

Ah, I think Sandy fits her. Also, it’s her name, I’m not sure you should change it really just because you’re not keen, she’ll be used to it and it can remain one constant throughout her life (unless it’s just what the shelter named her after a previous name?) Saying that, my mum did rename a puppy she got that was called Hercules, but he was only 6 weeks old. I think Sandy is an ace name to shout Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaandyyyyyyyyyy! But it is quite similar to Sadie I guess.

roxy? ruby? zuzu? pogo?
i renamed my 3 yr old rescue (his name was a horrible taunting nickname i had growing up) and he didn’t seem to care one bit.

I like Daisy.
Other options that came to mind, Coco (or Cocoa) or Ginger.

She looks like a Lady to me!
I also like Daisy, though.
