I’m wondering if the sample lays that way because it is too long? Or because it has been worn a lot and the fabric is softer from use? I’m not sure either of those things help, but I guess you could wear it around the house if the fabric is softer due to use. 😉

It’s a beautiful dress.

Could you try a smaller or flowy’er petticoat? if thats even possible…sorry

Something that I remember a bridal consultant telling my friend upon picking up her gown was not to hang it on the hanger, to lay it, cuz the dress will pull from the weight of the gown….do you think that could be it too?? Since they usually have them hanging in the showroom/store!

I actually don’t think it looks that different….but I did notice the same thing with mine. The sample was more worn out and therefore didn’t look as extreme of a poof when the skirt started. I have kinda either gotten used to it or it went away on it’s own lol. sometimes I think the clips on the sample dresses take a little too much of the volume away when you’re trying it on. Either way you look at it… it’s a beautiful dress and I don’t think you need to worry too much about changing it!!

i saw a girl with the very same issue on Say Yes to the Dress, due to the sample having been used more and the fabric being softer, and they just cut out a couple layers of toule and she loved it

maybe you could try the same?

haha I know this feeling too well but DON’T WORRY! it’s not that crazy!! I used to second-guess myself and go crazy with my dress choice.. but now that my wedding is getting closer, I am very glad I went with something with some more drama instead of something that looks like a prom dress!

I have spent the last few minutes comparing the two pics and am totally stumped; to me they look identical! I know that you can see a difference but please rest assured that you look perfect in it!
