How is that dress not flattering? You look so beautiful! However, if you aren’t comfortable, can you talk to the shop about exchanging it for a different one. If not, I say sell or alter it to get what you will be happy with so long as you can afford to do so.

I think this is timeless and gorgeous!!! I think it would be ruined by satin. It is so flowey and compliments you perfectly. Your friend needs to get her eyes checked or she jelly!!😜

I’m with annabannana85 on this one.  That dress is SO flattering on you!  It is absolutly beautiful and you have the right assets on the top half of your body to carry off the strapless look. If I were you I’d be thrilled to be wearing that gorgeous dress and to look so divine  in my wedding day.  But of course I am not you and you have an entirely different bridal vision. I think you need to find the dress you desire in your size somewhere and try it on.  If it speaks to you then it’s yours and you must persue it to the alter while selling your other one or exchanging it.  But honestly…your original choice is just beautiful

I think it’s gorgeous. My shop wouldnt let me take any photos of the dress because they said I would overanalyse and find small flaws that didn’t really exist. They were right – the shop lighting and camera phone combine to make it look way different. And it’ll be different again with hair and make up and alterations done. I really think it’s a stunning dress on you. And DONT show anyone the dress pictures before the big day. Your opinion is what matters – if you love it then that’s it. Nobody’s going to say they don’t like it on the day. A friend of mine saw my dress in an ad and said ‘no way would i wear that, it’s too revealing’ and it really put me off! Even though it shouldn’t have. It wasnt revealing at all and I thought I looked great on the day! In summary – I think you look gorgeous but do whatever you want because you’re the one who has to love it!

I like the one you’ve selected better than the others.  I think you look beautiful in it as is.

Sweetcece:  They are all actually very pretty and flattering on your body shape. It really comes down to what you feel best in….but the first you one choose is very pretty. Sometimes people who know you are use to seeing you in a certain style–so maybe this dress is something she wasn’t use to seeing you in.

In My Humble Opinion, you are overthinking. Those other two dresses you posted are so trendy– they’ll look dated within 10 years tops. The dress you bought is classic and timeless. You wont regret it in the long run!

Sweetcece:  This dress *is* sophisticated, elegant, and best of all, super flattering!!! You look gorgeous. One of the hardest parts of getting your wedding look together is settling on one style. We are complex humans and especially if you love fashion, it’s easy to want to go in a lot of directions. But you truly chose well, and you can always take the rest of your accessories and go a little more modern if you choose

I LOVE your dress! I think it’s incredibly flattering and you look amazing! If you decide to keep your dress (which I think you should,) I think you should stop looking at pics online, because you’ll keep fixating, and questioning your decision.
