Ok, so here is my first try. I used a tissue pom.
Here is my second try with a peony, with a black center. They look a lot like anemones.
And a closer picture of the flower:
I am going to add some smaller white peonies with black centers on the side because my colors are black, white and yellow.

I’d like to see the pom one but with closer and more packed tissue paper. Between the two of these though, the flower one not the first one.

I think they are both fine.
The peony is beautiful but it looks like it might be one sided, which doesn’t work as well for a centerpiece.
Can you do two peonies back to back?

I think with some extra peonies, the second one will look perfect.

I think the new flower is great!

@Pinkmoon: I honestly love the new flower. It is very beautiful in person. I am thinking about about adding two white peonies with a black center, to go with the yellow one. One, it will bring out the white in my color scheme, and two, it will make the arrangement look more full, which it does not look full now. This is just my first attempt. I know I have much work to do.
