Well, I don’t have celiac disease! Yeay!!!!!
I am being sent to a reproductive science center. Sounds scary, to be honest. My obgyn said they will probably either give me pills to ovulate…or give me pills to LOSE WEIGHT. Um, I may be a few pounds overweight, but I wear a size 8. Hmm, oh well. I guess my BMI must be high, and I know I am probably more fat than muscle since I am kind of out of shape. But like I told my mom, if I end up a size 2, that’s cool! 🙂
Just waiting for the office to call back…
The doctor is a man! I haven’t had a strange man lookin at my hoo-ha since college! But, unlike college, I am hoping this dude gets me knocked up! 🙂

I was never cool with a male doctor down there until i saw one in a fertility clinic. I swear, they are the NICEST, most heartwarming people EVER. So maybe you’ll actually like him, haha. i’ve never felt so comfortable in stirrups before. The weird part is the nurse hanging out in the room with you…it’s just weird!
I hope he gets you preggo! Either way, ovulation pills or weight loss pills–it could be a lot worse I guess =]

btw i have a male gyno and he makes me feel so comfortable! But i’ve also been going to him since i was 16. I’m moving in a couple months and am so sad to have to change to another 🙁 ejs4y8 i second you on the nurse in the room being weird! I went for a check up last week and shes just talkin her little head off. I think its so awkwardddd to talk while he’s doing his business down there lol

My appointment is August 17th. They want the hubs there, so I was like “well if he has to, uh, give a sample of anything, I should give him fair warning.” But it is just a consultation.
I was talking to my mom saying “I can’t belive they think I am fat.” Then I realized I was shoving a handful of potato chips in my mouth as I was saying it. Oopies. I guess a little diet wouldn’t hurt. I am just excited that white flour is still A-okay!
It’s funny how many stories I have heard about people making an appointment with a reproductive specialist but getting pregnant on their own and having to cancel. My mom actually did it when she was pregnant with me. My friend Jenn found out at the appointment that she was actually pregnant. So here’s to hoping my appointment ends up cancelled!
Thanks for the love!

@heathaah:thanks for the update, love the sense of humor! that will serve you will in TTC, keeping it light is important 🙂
just a thought – eating a good diet is important when you are preggers so it can’t hurt to get started developing some better eating habits now anyways. i have heard that it can help with PCOS also….there are people who are “skinny fat” 🙂

Lol. I say hoo-ha too. It sounds like the doctors are on the right track now. Who knows, maybe you and your sister will end up being pregnant at the same time! Good luck. I’ll be crossing my fingers for you.
