What do you do with two absolutely TRASHED flower girl dresses. My granddaughters had such a wonderful time at their parents’ wedding that the organza of their dresses ripped from all the dancing and running around. Also they are growing at such a rapid rate that there was no way they could ever wear them again.
I wanted them to have a momento of the wedding that they could keep so I made them a skirt to play around with for a few more years and a beautiful cushion using the beaded sash as an accent.
The beaded sash is so beautiful, it is artwork in its own right and all hand done.
This was only possible because the dresses had four layers of fabric in the skirt, the lining near the skin, the lining with the crincoline, the lining over the crincoline, the blue layer (thicker fabric) and the organza on top!!! Amazing, made by Jasmines Bridal Shop from China.
