Another wine question… Sorry… So in your opinions, how much is too much for drinking wine?
If it’s just a glass a day (and so I’ve heard a glass a day every day is good for health) for after work to help wind down, is that too much? Thinking about it like “”I drank 5 times last week” seems like a bit much phrased like that, but when I say “A glass of wine after work” it doesn’t sound so bad. So I’m mixed.
I’m really enjoying having a glass after work since my job is pretty stressful, but in your opinions when does it get to be too much? Just trying to get a general opinion

Sorry I voted incorrectly. I don’t see a problem with 2 or 3 times a week of any kind of drink but anything more then that I think is too much. But this is coming from someone who might drink once every 2 or 3 months.

One glass a day is fine IMO. I like having a bit of wine before bed, helps me get to sleep easier lol.

I hav a glass of wine five days a week. Sometimes I have two. Tomorrow, I might have to drink the whole damn bottle!

If you have a hard time giving it up, or it’s affecting your life it’s too much.

Thank you all! I googled if it’s healthy or not to drink a glass a day. Some day it is, some say it’s not… I think I’ll ignore the “not” sites

I agree with pp…sometimes I drink one glass a day, sometimes I drink a bottle a day. sometimes I dont drink at all. If you are drinking a glass a day I dont think that is bad, but if you are drinking to get drunk then thats a different story…

@AB Bride: I agree with this. I just started drinking wine though. I’ve always drank beer or liquor and never had a hard time giving it up. I have been drinking once every month to two months. But I don’t feel like getting drunk really anymore, just something to relax with. But it still seems a bit much every day. But it doesn’t at the same time to me

I think that if you could stop drinking for a prolonged period of time without any issues, then you aren’t drinking too much. If its difficult to imagine getting off work and not having a glass of wine, then it might be too mcuh.

@MsPiggy: And I agree with this too 🙂
I drank a glass after work the last two nights and was considering another tonight when I get off work but then started thinking “well that will make 4 times I’ve drank in the past week” (Friday night was a chick flick night where I just drank 3 beer in 6 hours). Even though I haven’t gotten drunk any of the previous three times, it just causes mixed feelings.
Getting drunk is getting just too exhausting for me lately (even though I only do/did it once every month or two).

I will usually drink one a day (wine), most days of the week. Sometimes two. I can’t say I’ve had more than 3 though on a normal night. I’m also almost 6′ and 155lbs so having a glass or two will not get me drunk. Of course, if I go out with friends to to a bar on a weekend night I might drink something else like beer or liquor. But that might be…once or twice a month?
