I’m underwhelmed.  None of the dresses are dresses I’d have chosen for myself, and the accessories seem way, way overpriced.

I agree about the price of everything.. but I disagree about the  gowns… they are gorgeous and straight out of a fairy tale

I like the gowns too and most of the prices seem very reasonable.

I loved the gowns, but agree that they seem very expensive. But Anthropologie isn’t cheap for clothing, so I don’t see why they would be any less expensive for bridal. Cute stuff though!

I am not really as impressed as I had thought i would be. i had been counting down the days until the line launched and was just… underwhelmed.  The dresses seemed overpriced and the bridesmaid dresses were not nearly as cute as I had hoped. Nothing really wowed me.  I like the eyelet sheath for a casual or outdoor daytime wedding, but for $1000?! Come on.

I think the head pieces, and jewellery are ridiculously overpriced. You can find most of that stuff on Etsy, for a fraction of the cost. Really, over $100 for a head band?? Stupid.

I too was really disappointed. It felt a bit “dumbed down” from leifsdoitter. I was hoping for charming 1920’s accessories. The green beaded cluth for $500+ was insulting. I see things better priced, better made, and more interesting on Etsy and Ebay everyday then what they rolled out.

I think this was a really soft roll out and we might see a lot more inventory get added as the year progresses.

For me, a 4k dress from Priscilla of Boston looks more like a lamborghini to the Anthropologie Prius dresses they listed.

Big thumbs down – site wasn’t interesting, color palette wasn’t all that dynamic, and the pricepoints were just typical of the brand.

Big thumbs up – the Asian model who rocked every photo and the photographer who shot her.

I agree with you all. Why do I feel like I’ve seen all these “Hair Adornments” on Etsy? Seriously, this stuff is nothing new. I do like some of the dresses, but not enough to drop that kind of money. Way overpriced.

I was sooooooooooooooo excited and loved the video they had on the site before it launched, but pretty disappointing when I saw the dresses, there isn’t a single one I would wear gown wise, but I did really like this one for the rehearsal:

buts it more $ than I would pay for a wedding gown!

@Miss Sardine:   The dress is by Tracy Reese. I think you could have a dress maker actually make it for less than what Anthro is selling it for and it would be made in the USA.  Is there seriously no ingenuity left in this company? I’d like to tell the buyers that their con job is a real yawn.

I was looking forward to this release thinking the dresses would be super cute & affordable… well, I only like one in the line & it’s WAY overpriced for what it is! Kind of feel the same way about the Vera Wang dresses @ DB, oh well 🙁

I absolutely adore the movement of the monarch gown, but the price is ridiculous.  The organza thread count looks a little low to be of a dress that price.
