I personally like this super plain box. It doesn’t lock, but if you’re using a color scheme I think it would look nice painted one of the colors (spray paint would probably be best to avoid brushstrokes).

last wedding i went to they just had a crystal bowl where people put their cards in.  Most secure thing ever?  No… but given where her venue was (pretty tucked out of the way) and how many people there were (read: enough that there were always at least a dozen guests in between the card bowl and the door) it made a lot of sense.
