I have these cute little wedding favor antique wood chests I’ll be giving to my guests and I’ve been trying to figure out what I should put in these adorable little chests.
They measure about 5.5″(Length) x 3 1/4″ (Height) x 3.5″ (Depth). My wedding is a victorianesque theme and my colours are Antique Gold, Ivory & Black. Below is a sample picture of the chest.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? If you could help me out, I’d appreciate it very much.
Thank you for your help!!

Oh wow, those are awesome! Where did you get them, and is the two dollar price tag that’s off to the side how much the chests are?
I know you wanted suggestions, but I saw them and just had to ask! 🙂

LOL! Thank you for your reply.
I got these little chests at a local dollar store, and yes, they were $2.00 (cdn) each. I had to go to 4-5 different dollar stores just to get enough for all my guest plus some extras for the ‘just in case’.
Thanks again for your reply.

Ohhh, how about chocolate gold coins…? It could be like a fun, edible treasure chest kind of thing, but still with a Victorian vibe.

Yea I second that on the chocolate gold coins. Good for those who want a little memento in the form of the treasure chest and good for those who like edible favors.

so. freaking. JEALOUS!!!! LOVE those!!!!
I agree on the chocolate gold coins! Or even the Hershey “gems”! (play on words?) You could probably get custom “coins” from oriental trading, too!
if you’re having kids, you could add necklaces and rings for the girls and pirate-type stuff for the boys!

I would just put a little card inside with a note saying thank you for sharing the day, etc
