I have been looking for different ideas for my soon-to-be-husband and I to get from the Church to the Reception hall. I had considered a horse and buggy since it’s only a short distance (maybe a mile distance), but the cost was very high… as in $500+. Also looked into limo, but the cost was roughly the same. I had a thought about riding in a classic / antique car! The theme of our wedding is vintage /elegance so would fit perfectly plus would make for some AWESOME photo ops. The problem is, I dont know where to find anyone who has one of these cars who does these kinds of events. Obviously, we would not drive the car… the car owner or whoever is providing it would drive. I had called the local auto museum, but they just said to contact auto clubs to see if anyone would be willing to lend their services. I know the easy route would be to just use one of our cars as it is such a short drive but I wanted something a bit more special.
So bees, anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find someone to allow us to ride in their classic / antique car?? Hoping to keep the cost to $200 or less.

Owner club would prob be your best bet. Some car rental/limo places have antique cars to rent out.

You already have the best advice. Contact the local chapters of the Vintage Car Club. My Dad used to own a Vintage Ford Model A coupe with a rumble seat and he loved to drive couples on the wedding day.
this is a stock photo- not ny Dad’s car
Here is a list of car clubs in PA

You can also see if there are any car shows happening nearby – there tend to be a lot in the summertime. Those guys love talking about their cars and would probably be flattered if you asked to hire them for a day.
However you need to think about what you’d be willing to pay per hour – they have to bring you the car and most likely would be the ones driving it – factor in travel time, waiting around while you get married time, waiting around for photos time, waiting around until the reception is over if you choose to do that. the prices you have so far don’t seem out of line to me because you’re asking someone to spend their whole day on you.
