I have to go custom or put my engagement ring on one hand and my wedding band on the other.  I actually prefer putting the rings on different hands because I don’t want my band to detract from my engagement ring.

@beachbride1216:  Do you want both rings on the same finger, or can you consider to use your wedding band on your right hand finger?  If you could, you should have a dainty similar style ring, and if you are not concerned of the rings to sit flushed you could still wear them together. Good luck!

Ihave tried on a few bands and in order for the band to sit flush with the engagement ring I would have to have a custom band made and I really don’t want to spend the money.  The other two options I have are to get a band that doesn’t sit flush (which would drive me crazy because I prefer things to be symmetrical) or wear my band on a different hand.  If I do the latter option my FH really wants me to continue to wear my engagement ring on my left hand and my wedding band on my right hand (apparently this is common in some European countries.)

If I had a ring like that I wouldn’t get a wedding band. I actually prefer an ering without a wband. Your ring is beautiful, but I think a wedding band might take a little away from it. You could do what a pp has suggested and move it to your right hand.

@Glasgowbound:  WOW!!! I LOVE your ring!! Its stunning!! I love the art deco 1920’s vintage rings! I think if your going to do a band you should go custom and get one with a bend taht will fit snuggly around your ring since it is such a cool shape, id get it done with the same milligraning in the white gold so it looks like an extension of the beautiful detail in your ring. Cannot wait to see wht you go with please post pics!!
