Anxiety over 2pt Halo!

I have half pointers in my halos (double halo ering) so I’m no help – but I wanted to comment that the basket design on that ring will make it so that your wedding band won’t sit flush against it. IDK if that’s something you’re after or not, as some people like a visible gap, but thought I’d point it out on the CAD.

Anyways, I think 2 pointers w/ a 2 ct center will be quite nice. I think it will have a similar effect of 1 pointers surrounding a 1 ct center.

My 2 carat diamond with 2 point diamonds around the halo and on the band (size 4.5). The band is about 1.7 mm thick I think and it’s also shared prong.

I think it’s a nice proportion but some people prefer 1 pointers or 0.5 pointers. I don’t think 2 pointers are too big but I’m biased of course 🙂

I’m not sure about the chunkiness of your ring from the side. It looks a bit too square to me; although I appreciate you want a cushion halo I think it could be a little more flowing. Look up Victor Canera Emilya for a really nice halo. Lauren B on instagram also has great halo designs with videos showing the side profile.

Very pretty but that is going to be a very large gap given the basket size…I would be going elsewhere and trying lots on first before committing, good luck

Thank you! I think 2 pointers will look lovely with your design although I appreciate your concerns as you don’t want to detract from your centre stone. But I don’t think you have anything to worry about with 2 pointers. I know on Pricescope they often recommend 0.5 pointers which are approx 1 mm diameter. 2 pointers are 1.7 mm I think. So it’s dainty vs daintier really 🙂
