Be patient and strong, Bee, even though it’s tough.  This is like the Stanford marshmallow experiment.

OMG I would be dying! I would tear my house apart looking for that box and if I found it I don’t know how I wouldn’t open it lol! As far as if you should ask that’s really up to how y’all are about things and if you ordered it together and picked it then I don’t see any harm in asking. Goodluck and please come back and post lots of pics when you get it!

@maybemena:  I think you’re smart to keep in mind the return window, but I would give him a couple weeks at least if you know he wants to surprise you. I don’t think it’s out of the question to ask, but I would enjoy the suspense personally. πŸ™‚

Hahaha I pretty much made an identical post last year πŸ˜‚ he ended up making me wait almost 3 months, but he did blindfold me and put it in my finger to make sure it fit before the return window expired

Tricky! Hmm, with my anxiety, id have trouble waiting, and id probabyl accidentally ‘clean’ areas in my house that I dont normally clean too often. lol But yes, im assuming he plans a proposal and im assumng you dont mind or you WANT a porposal of sorts, so id say maybe wait πŸ™‚ In the end, it will be so worth the special moment!

I think it’s sensible to have a peek and try it on for size, given the 30 day retun policy, in case something is not right.

It’s not like you don’t know a proposal is coming and that there’s a ring.. and even the specific ring!

I don’t think you should see it before he proposes!! That way it’s more special. My fiancé and I designed my ring together but I didn’t see it IRL or in videos until he proposed.

But if in about 3 weeks he hasn’t (which I highly doubt), then its reasonable to see it to make sure it’s perfect.

I’m in the same boat! My ring is in the house!!! My boyfriend picked up my ring from the jeweller over a month ago (early April)! He originally didn’t want to do a quarantine proposal but I gave him my blessing (cough nudge) to propose during quarantine if quarantine ends up looking like it won’t let up until July/August/September. So I’m just (im)patiently waiting for this mysterious maybe quarantine maybe not quarantine proposal.

My jeweller already posted photos of the ring on her Instagram page, so that has tided me over a bit until I actually get to see it in person!!

I would get him to try the ring on your finger for size just in case, like kenobee said, blindfolded!

I found my engagement ring in his shoe. I googled best places to hide an engagement ring.

First off, just googled your ring and it’s STUNNING. Second, if you figure out how to survive please let me know how because i’m about to be in the same boat. The ring is being shipped tomorrow. I’m only in the know how because i’ve been working with the insurance people.

My patience is pretty much at a zero right now.

Just so you know, my ring is from BE, and the return policy can be extended up to 90 days, if you can prove the proposal happened near the end of the 30 day wait period. I had to return mine due to a sizing problem and a defect. I returned mine at the 60 day mark. The replacement was beautiful, so don’t worry about the quality. Mine was just a fluke.
