October 2019 hopefully … we still don’t live together and our 1 year anniversary is January 4th 2018 . He needs a better job and a car before he can pay for the wedding . ( he wants to pay for the wedding entirely as I cannot work ).

emtf :  Summer 2019 bride here! We got engaged this August on our 9nth anniversary, but we still haven’t decided on specific month, maybe July (less heat), though I’d prefer August, on Fiance birthday! And we have done zero planning yet, isn’t it kind of early; I’ve only joined here if it counts lol!

Well this post us old, but I see there are some new brides. I’m a Spring 2019 bride actually March 2, 2019. I start nursing school this fall. I’m trying to have everything planned before I start. Lord knows I won’t have time, we selected that date so we would be able to go on a honeymoon while I’m on spring break.  We have our….

Colors

Theme

Ceremony location (we have to wait till 1 year out)

Reception location (we have to wait one year)

DJ and Photographer (not booked probably in March)

Found my dress

Have my STD’s

Once I place my venue deposits I’m going to work on my invitation

pawneegoddess :  only just seen this message. Sorry!!

My venue is in a national park/woods in the mountains. There is a house/villa on site where me and my family be staying fri-mon. The wedding is on Saturday (all outside) and then we are inviting the guests back to the venue on Sunday for paella. 🙂

what is your venue like??

emtf :  congrats on the engagement!!! And happy planning! My wedding is March 2019!! I gotta say I’m enjoying not having to rush into anything. I have found my dress, our venue, photographer and  caterer the rest is slowly being sorted out. I have my sister who is a wedding planner too so That has been a huge help.

I don’t have an exact date yet, as I just got engaged, but I’ll most likely be a summer bride (2018). The wedding isn’t as important for me—I just want to get married, so why wait?

I got engaged December 2016 and I am getting married October 2019! I have actually started planning, have my venue and ceremony set, I like to get a head start to have time to pay everything. It is a bit early, but honestly for my date a LOT of things were filled up already ( My original date was in November but the church i absolutely wanted wasn’t available, only for October and had to revolve everything around that, a lot of the photographers ended up being already booked for my date!) I also will sign off the caterer in September. A lot of people say too many things can happen, but I feel like if they happen they happen. I will be sad but at least know I am trying my hardest. I think I am way too excited to wait.
