Just wondering if there are any other June 10th brides out there? DId any of you decide to do a Sunday wedding like we did? Between travel time for both families and liking the time of day we chose (3-8) this worked well for us. How about you other bees?

Twins! Sunday is saving us lots of money and it’s more convenient than a Friday night. Perfect date! Have you gotten your invitations yet?! Check out 123print.com. We got all of our invitations and save the dates and address labels for $130 and they’re awesome!!

Haven’t gotten the invitations yet because our photographer is also doing those for us. We ordered and sent out our save the dates and got 300 address labels for free on vistaprint.com. Thank you for the tip though π So glad we picked this day over others. It will be plenty enjoyable for us and easy for our guests for traveling. Turns out our venue actually doesn’t charge any different for any day of the week, but it will just be better for us.

Me π We are having a chuppa (Jewish) ceremony, so we had to choose a Sunday due to Shabbat being Friday-Saturday.
Can’t wait!

I’m getting married June 3, but it’s a Sunday wedding too. I can’t believe how much we’re saving that way!

Funny thing is, we are not even saving anything! My wedding venue does not change the price based on the day of the week. However, because of traveling for my family, it will be easier for many of them.

Yay! I’m a June 10th Bride! We’re definitley excited, although we’re a bit burnt out. We (for some crazy reason) are doing a mostly DIY wedding, as far as decor, flowers, and invites, etc. go. I can’t wait for the big day, I feel like time is flying by, but I’m also finding it hard to get my rump into gear to finish the last of the projects.
What about y’all? Do you feel like everything is under control?

I think overall I am pretty much on schedule, except invitations. I ordered a bunch of samples and hopefully within the next couple of weeks I will receive them, pick a favorite and order. Otherwise, it’s just a ton of little things that are left to do.

@TMG: I am super excited. I have a few DIY projects, but luckily I have my sister to help me out with those. She is very crafty. I definitely think time has flown by, but I am so ready for it to be here. We had four weddings we have gone to in the last year and i just want MINE to be here!
@CheekyWedding: Good luck choosing!!! π Hope you find something you love
