@BeeRod527:  Well i always wear what I call a belly sucker, or in America I think Spanx? That helps suck in the tummy and make it flatter. I wear that with dresses constantly, it just make me look flat rather than flabby. Not that you are flabby

Work on your angles too. So you have a longish face (whereas mines round) So an up do that is high will elongate your face, which could make it look less round, or it could just make it look long lol!

My best angle is from the side becuase of the roundness of my face, It gives me angles to the face. You need to work with your own face in a mirror and find your best angles.

I think the outfits you chose are gorgeous! Is the top dress from Asos? because I have a similar one I just bought from there that i love! I think the second outfit is great as well!

Good luck! I hope you post a pic or 2 when you’ve done them!

@BeeRod527:  I love those outfits!!! Very flattering.

Like the other poster said – work on your angles and find what is best for you and what you like. Maybe wear your hair half up or away from your face? You’re pretty already! 🙂 BUT I know the fears….we are having ours done the 2nd of November (a little longer away)  but I’m worried about the same issues. Just try to forget about your fears, work on your angles, wear your spanx that you bought, and have fun!!!

Tricks with scale and proportion can make you look smaller. ,Every notice how celebrities carry GIGANTIC bags? It makes them look tiny in comparison. Big props are cute AND make you look small. Something like a huge bunch of balloons. Or a great big cute sign with your wedding date or “Future Mr. and Mrs. so-and-so” written on it.

Honestly, I havent gotten mine done yet but you look great just the way you are!!!! Photographers really know what they are doing, so they will capture you basically at every angle and will know which angles work best. Don’t stress over pictures or body shapers etc., go out and have fun and enjoy being goofy with your fiance- happiness will show in your pictures and that is what everyone is going to see!

That being said…I like both of your outfits!! Smile

I would leave your hair holour the way it is but the style is too flat right now.

I suggest adding volume and curling your hair at the photo shoot. That will even out the overall look.

I love the red on you but i woul dalso add a different colour cardigan that the one you have on in the photo. Maybe light beige or white.

My advice would be to do your own hair. It may not look as fancy, but at least you’ll look like you. I got my hair cut the day of thinking it’d be a great idea. I’d have a professional styling my hair just in time for the shoot. But she did my bangs all weird and whatever product she used made my hair crunchy. It didn’t look bad, but when I look at the pictures now it’s all I can see. I wish I’d done it myself.

Before I was a bridesmaid the last time I researched how to pose in photos and its amazing what a difference the way you stand makes and understanding the angles that are flattering to your body in photos. I couldn’t find the exact article I read but this one is similar.
