We are getting married in Cabo at a resort. The first thing I would do is narrow it down to where you want to get married. After that I would find a resort- most big resorts have wedding planners that work with you and make it super easy.

It also depends on your location. We live on the east coast so our wedding is on the beach but isnt a destination wedding. If you’re looking for something international, I agree with PP. If youre looking for something closer to home where theres a beach nearby, do your research and look at the venues. It was very important to me that the back up space in case of rain was still beautiful. Cause I mean ivneeded to be realiscti that it could happen. So make sure wherever you’re looking has a good back up plan for bad weather.

Some hotels have access to the beach and by using their venue they often offer a back up space, other places you may have to purchase a separate permit to be able to get married on the beach and its usually just a 30 minute window.. it is definitely something to keep in mind as far as your budget goes.
