I registered at Amazon. No one has bought us anything off our registries, we’ve received cash to date, which is fine with us.

I started a registry on Amazon but also wanted an in-store shopping option, and ended up deciding we didn’t have enough items we wanted to fill both registries.  After 2 showers we only have like 20 things left we want from Target!

We did an amazon registry, and it was actually fairly popular.  We did The Bay (kinda like Canadian Macy’s), Bed Bath and Beyond and Amazon.

I haven’t registered yet, but a friend of mine got married over the summer and they had an Amazon regisry – she highly recommended it.

We did.  We didn’t receive any gifts from it, though.  All cash/checks.

I registered at amazon and at Williams-Sonoma. Amazon was way better! I recommend it because it’s easy for people to buy stuff, and they have basically everything. And returns are really easy, if you need to do that.

We’re registered at Amazon and Crate & Barrel. We mainly registered at Amazon because there isn’t one place we liked enough to get all our stuff from them. We also wanted a lot of West Elm stuff, and they don’t offer registry service. This way, we added them to our Amazon registry with the Universal Wish List button, or whatever it’s called.

So far we’ve had people purchase a few things from both. And many of the items that were purchased from our Amazon registry are actually from other stores (West Elm, Pottery Barn), so it seems to be working ok so far!

We registered at Amazon in addition to Macy’s and Crate & Barrel.  The Amazon registry was the first to be fulfilled.

Right now we are only registered at Amazon, but plan to register at Macy’s in a few weeks. We’ve had one guest buy a present so far and a couple mention (to my Mom) that they had visited the regsitry. Everyone seems to think it’s pretty cool so far.

Obviously Amazon tends to be a little cheaper than dept stores, and you have a better selection of brands and models for items. But the other great thing is you can use their “universal registry” to add items from any online store. I.e. I added a few bowls from Anthropologie.

If you want I can PM you our actual registry so you can check out a ‘real life’ one.

We are using an Amazon and an Etsy registry, both are fairly small though as we are kinda hoping for cash.  I love how you can find just about everything on Amazon and put it all in one place!  Not to mention you can put stuff from other websites onto the Amazon registry list.
