@zeoy85: here it is with some names removed…(removed the name of the chick I have NOT heard from before now or done business with before)
I am writing on behalf of my partner, Ashley, regarding your cake topper. She has asked me to assure you that your cake topper is finished and I will personally mail it to you by the end of the week or issue a refund. However, I will also be taking legal action if you continue to post libelous information online, on various wedding forums. You have never done business with XXXXX Studios (where I am also a photographer) and I will take every action necessary to have both my partner’s personal information and my business name removed. Itsalltakingshape is currently CLOSED due to Ashley’s inability to keep current with orders and she is doing her best to complete everything in a timely manner. I have contacted the forums where I found the information, and will continue searching and documenting each one. I will respond to this email when I check it, or you can contact me personally at [email protected] for an immediate response. Regards,XXXX
Basically, when I posted the information that I think prompted this email, I mentioned the original Etsy store name I bought my item from (never received), the timeline of events, the recent actions by this seller (ignoring all repeated emails and removing me from her Facebook friend list and deleting my comments on her other professional page)… I had posted a generic “Please get in touch with me ASAP; I never received a response to my emails” post on her FB page and she deleted it then removed me. So I went over to her business page (on Facebook, photography page) and posted comments there, which I will admit I was posting to get her attention.. I said publically to her that she needed to refund me for my item and that removing me from her friends list didn’t make it okay to rip me off. She deleted those within an hour.
I posted this chain of events on another wedding forum, and I mentioned her TWO closed Etsy shops (I only learned about the other yesterday) and I also mentioned that I had discovered another forum where she was being HOTLY discussed by members also claiming to have had money taken when she didn’t send what was promised. those discussions were from last summer but her excuses were very much “recycled” and sounded like what I’d heard she was saying currently as to why she wasn’t shipping stuff out.
I mentioned her photography business in the context of “Her name is Ashley Bell. She sells this and that and had 2 etsy stores, she apparently was doing business here making such and such, and she also has a photography business and actively promotes it on facebook” because I was upset by the fact that she is actively soliciting business while having no time to fulfill orders paid for several months ago.
So I mentioned her other business (which includes her name) having no idea she had any business partner involved. But I didn’t make any claims about that business because I have never used those services. I DID say blanketly “avoid Ashley Bell” which is what, I think, this person has an issue with since it is her business too.
Whew. Sorry so long. Hope that clarifies. I posted about my experience here and on Weddingwire and on the other forum that is not wedding related, I read many posts (from last summer) from others but didn’t post anything myself, though I did email members privately to find out if they ever got their money back.
