Is anyone tanning before the wedding? Specially the ones who have pale complexion and don’t tan on a regular basis?
Anyone considering spray tan/sunless tanning?
Due to the fact that its “fashionable” to be healthy and go with everything natural, I’ve been hearing that pale is a new tan (!). I think it’s silly to treat health as something “fashionable” but nevertheless want to hear what my fellow bees think 🙂
As for me, I am pale, but I’m not gonna tan, even though I know that I will look like Casper on pictures. Using bronzer on fair skin works only if you wear a turtleneck. Bronzed face with fair neck and shoulders In My Humble Opinion looks ridiculos.

I like to get a bit of colour before my wedding but I’m sure I will be ok in having that because my wedding is a destination wedding. Hopefully I will not turn red before the big day so a hat is necessary!!
I’m not gonna lie I have been tanning a few times but I know it is not healthy and I would advise people against it! plus you dont want to be orange in your wedding pics (think Jersey Shore) lol

I didn’t. I just wore tube tops and strapless dresses all summer to try avoid any tan lines. I don’t mind being pale.

I am pretty darn pale (although I do get dark if I tan) and so is my fiance. I do not think I’ll be doing any sort of tanning for the wedding eventhough my bridesmaids might use a fake tan or sun/tanning beds. I am used to looking pale and I think my dress looks fine on my pasty self. Although if I do get a slight tan from being outside this summer, I’m going to try to avoid bathing suit strap marks!

I got an airbrush tan, and I felt it looked a tad darker than I would have liked in photos. I got it on Friday before my Sunday wedding, but it was still kind of dark. I’m glad I did it, because I really feel unattractive in my natural pale state (sorry, just do), but I wish it would’ve been a little lighter (I got “medium” when the options were “medium” or “dark”).

I will most definitely be tanning. I look like death otherwise. Hopefully, since our wedding is in September, I’ll get a good base tan going during the preceeding months, then only have to go to a tanning bed a few times. It takes me months to work up to 10 minutes in a bed, seriously. I burn so easily.

Nah. I’m pale and I’m sticking with it.

I am! I’m laying in a bronzing bed (my complexion gets a better color, less red looking in that bed) and I use smoke with a bronzer. Less visits, better color.

I’m pale as sh!t (with black hair – makes me look even paler) and made the mistake of doing a spray-on tan the day before my junior prom back in HS. I was orange with a capital O. Ever since then I’ve stayed away from all sorts of artificial tanning (whether it be from a bed or in a can…). Needless to say, I went “pale” to my wedding. I got so many compliments on my “glowing” skin that I’m happy I made that decision!!
ETA: My wedding was at the end of August, so I’d gotten a bit of sun by then. So it’s not like I was winter-white. lol.

Nice! I see a lot of ladies go pale! Yey! i don’t feel alone now 🙂
Having pale skin, blue eyes and dark hair I hope I won’t look to pasty on pictures with the help of juicy berry lip balm 🙂

I’m pale. I want to look like myself at my wedding, so no tanning for me.
