I’m a senior! We’re doing a long engagement though, so I’m not really doing any wedding planning yet. I bought my dress, and we picked a venue, but nothing is booked yet. We will do most of the planning next year during my gap year between college and graduate school.

I *just* graduated in the fall, but my Fiance proposed to me a month before I started clinicals (which took up 40hrs a week plus I worked 40 hours a week). I was so determined to not stress about the wedding that I literally planned/booked everything within a month lol! It was so nice not to worry too much about vendors and all that jazz and just focus on school.

Yes! It is really difficult to manage the wedding planning and making good grades. I also am worried about finding a job when I am finished πŸ™ Most of the time I put it out of my head, but sometimes the stress really gets to me! If it weren’t for my mom and my Maid/Matron of Honor I would never be able to plan everything in time!

@SunshineLovin:  LoL thanks, I know I’m a freak of nature. And no, I dont live in Florida, I live in Indiana. And truly it wasn’t that hard. I hit the net and started calling vendors of all kinds, narrowed our choices and met with them. If we liked them, they were booked! We set a budget and if someone was too expensive I didn’t mull over it, they were put in the ‘nope’ pile and found someone who was in the ‘yep’ pile. I dunno it was hard, but overall so glad I did it that way. To have all that weight lifted off my shoulders was amazing…then all I had to do was finish the DIY projects I planned for myself.

btw good luck with graduating and finding a job! So exciting when you feel like you can get a “real” job and get a job thta you actually went to school for!!!

I’m a senior. πŸ™‚ Concentrating on classes is hard when I’d rather be wedding planning! Graduating in April, wedding in July, moving to a new state in August. So much change!
