We had a choice of 4 different types of “texas” beers and white/red wine.

Out of these 6 options everyone was happy 🙂

We’re only having wine.. and maybe beer.  We’re getting hitched at a winery and they don’t serve any other alcoholic drinks.

We’re having a limited open bar with beer, wine and soda. We’re also having a champagne toast as well as 1 or 2 signature drinks. If our guests want hard liquor then they can pay for it themselves at the cash bar.

We technically had an open bar, but did not advertise the fact as my parents had concerns over being liable for people drinking and driving. We were in our own room set aside from the rest of the restaurant and the bar, so it wasn’t exactly easy access to go order yourself a drink either.

We served kir royales at cocktail hour, and wine with dinner. A few guests who were not wine drinkers were brought alternatives from the servers, but there were only a select few of these requests and most people were very content with what was already served.

Our venue requires us to get a liquor license and bring in our own alcohol. So we’ll be choosing everything ourselves – wine, beer, champagne and select hard liquors.

We’re having a few pitchers of signature coctails (vodka + simply lemonade, and something else champagne are the only ideas so far) and I suppose we’ll have to have beer and wine, even though Fiance and I don’t like them
