I am having motivational issues of an epic proportion. My wedding is in 4 months and I CAN NOT make myself workout!!
I am HOPING and PRAYING for a Bee in my area that will motivate me!! I have a Crunch membership but only use it a few times a month!
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone????
PS. I live in the Marina/Cow Hollow area.

I live there too! I like to run out at crissy field but I have trouble motivating myself to do basic conditioning stuff when I’m not taking a class. I’d suggest we run together but my schedule is all over the place for the next few weeks, and I don’t have a gym membership.
Here’s what I do that absolutely never fails: I take aerial conditioning classes at the San Francisco Circus Center. You pay for them upfront, so you don’t want to miss class. It’s boot-camp type stuff with some acrobatics and you work on some of the aerial circus apparatus but not anything too intense. I went from doing 5 days a week 90 minute Bikram yoga to doing 2 days a week (90 minute class) at the circus center and I’m in better shape!!!! My conditioning class is on Monday evenings, if you want to drop in let me know, I think it’s $25 or so for a drop in.

@Pebble – I’m in the neighborhood as well and would be happy to link up. Our wedding was a week ago and while I lost 5 – 7 pounds for it, I’d love to keep at the weight loss and definately not put back on what I shed! Most of my weight loss was through watching my diet rather than working out but I could really use a toning routine to firm up. I mostly use the Jillian Michaels videos at home when I work out but I also have a membership at 24 hr fitness (and go to the one on Buchanan near Safeway). I recently bought a membership through Groupon for Funky Door Yoga (on Polk) but I haven’t activated it yet. I’ve heard the classes at Crunch are great.
@DreamingBee – That sounds fabulous. I had a “flying trapeze” party (group lesson) one year at the SF Circus Center and it was a blast — my abs and arms felt really sore (in a good way) the next day. It definitely seems like a fun way to get in shape!

I will go running and/or cross training and/or the fitness blocks along the marina and crissy field.
My gym is 24-hr fitness, but I run outside.
