I wanted to have a head table but as we are only having one Bridesmaid or Best Man and one Groomsmen the tables the venue supply would either be way to small or much to big.
They suggest having our Bridesmaid or Best Man and Groomsmen and closest friends at a normal table of 8.
Anyone else do this? I’ve love to see your pics.

What about placing this table right in front of the dance floor in the middle and giving it a special centerpiece? For example you could do low centerpieces on all the tables and a high centerpiece on this one. Or you could do a grander version of the normal centerpieces. Just something to make this table stand out.

We’re having a head table with our bridal party (6 total) and their dates (5 more), although we’re not sitting all on one side – just the 13 of us sitting around a big rectangular table. But it’s still the “head” table because of the position and the fact that all the other tables are round. You could sit at a table with your Maid/Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid or Best Man and their dates, and then maybe another couple or two. I agree with a PP about making the centerpieces special, or something that stands out for you. Or all six of you could sit on one side of the table, if you like.

My husband and I sat at a sweetheart table, which I loved! Here we are:
