Hi, Hive –
I am working on our wedding album on Shutterfly, and I am looking at their premium album options (the leather cover, the lay-flat pages). I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting one of these for ourselves; I’m debating whether to also get copies for parents and in-laws, or whether to go with the next tier down for theirs.
The premium albums are going to come out around $200-$225 each, with the additional pages I’ll be adding, etc. If I went with the non-premium books for the parents (same size, number of pages, etc.) they would be about $100 cheaper each – and I could use a 40% off coupon that unfortunately cannot be applied to the premium books, only the regular ones.
I am wondering if any of you have ordered their premium books, and whether you think it’s worth it to spring for three of them? Or are the regular ones similar enough that I’m better off going with those, given that it will be much less expensive because I can use the coupon code? How big is the difference in quality between the premium ones and the regular hardcover books?
