Darling Husband and I were talking last night about babies and decided that we wanted to wait about 2.5 years. He just applied for an awesome job that has really good pay. Last night he said to me, If I get this job, maybe we can have a baby next year! It was the first time I realized that the reason we are waiting is because we want to be financially ready for a baby. Any other bees in the same boat?

We are waiting due to finances as well. After our wedding in December, we will probably wait another 2-3 years. Darling Husband needs to get on full-time (from seasonal) and we need to get a house.
I really, really wish we could TTC sooner, but it’s just not in the cards for us for awhile.

I guess you could kind of say we are.
We both want for me to be able to be a stay-at-home mom when we have children and we aren’t at a point where we feel we could comfortably live off of just DH’s income. We’d have no financial worries if we got pregnant now, I just wouldn’t likely be able to stay at home.

we are, but it’s because i’m on contract with the govt only for another 6 months, and then it’s up in the air where I’ll be.
@SarahSmilesDec28: I live in NB too 🙂
