I wouldn’t want to drive it but I don’t see why you couldn’t stop a few places with the truck.  Yeah – you aren’t going to want to drive all over downtown and stop a bunch of places.  But if hitting one or two fun cities makes the trip more bearable, I’d say it’s doable.

I think it is do- able BUT when I moved my stuff in that thing my back hurt like hell because you can’t really adjust the seats. Getting out and walking around/eating/stretching your back out will most likely be essential to you making it from Seattle to DC!

there is nothing fun about moving. if the army is willing to do it for free, i would just take care of the stuff you care if they screw up and let them take the rest.  i hate moving and i hate moving furniture. it’s a huge pain in the ass. let the army do it. and follow behind in your car and do the fun road trip.

I think the trip will be an adventure, for sure! Will it be difficut with the truck, yes, but I do think it is do-able.

I refused to drive our moving truck too and it wasn’t as big as the one you are getting so I can’t blame you for that!

i think the driving part will be ok and fun. it’s the packing and unpacking and the moving the furniture on and off the truck. do you have any friends that can help?  a hand truck to get the big stuff? if so, go for it.  the road trip part could be fun.  don’t worry too much about parking or taking the car off and on the truck. let him figure it out while you drink haha.  it’s the other part that’s gonna suck.

yeah. i wouldn’t even ask him how he planned to do it.  i’d just let him do it. it’ll work out. have fun and don’t worry!

You’re brave! I don’t think Darling Husband and I could pull it off and still be married at the end of it lol. People think weddings being out the worst in people-no. It is definitely moving! We went though the wedding A-OK no problems. We moved 2 miles down the road and we almost broke up over the fact that the lady at Burger King didn’t put cheese on his burger. Yes– moving is tough! Just make sure you pack carefully!
