@EmmiJeanne: We used Sammy Kershaw, You are the Love of My Life. It was amazing and so beautiful.

I think we are going to dance to, End of My Story by the Pistol Annies 🙂
There are SO many good country songs for a first dance, I always wanted “No doubt about it” by Neal Mccoy but as the wedding planning started I just couldnt set my heart on it…I think I have finally decided on “Soulmate” by Josh Turner…I’m just kind of worried that the rhyming lyrics are a little cheesy…..If I don’t go with that I will probably go with “Only you can love me this way” by Keith Urban………ugh like I said SO many choices lol
Our first dance was to are you gonna kiss me or not by Thompson square.
We are definitely doing a country first dance, but I have no idea which one because SO many are perfect! I am country music obsessed so this could be one of the hardest wedding decisions I make lol
We’re doing “Me and You” by Kenny Chesney. I’ve known since high school that would be my first dance song and Fiance, who likes country, but isn’t a big Kenny fan agreed.
We danced to History In The Making by Darius Rucker!
It’s very random and not romantic, but my husband loves Darius Rucker’s version of Wagon Wheel an our band told us about three minutes before our dance that they learned it for us so we changed our song to that one. We were going to dance to Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes though.
And six months is a ton of time to figure it out!
Im leaning towards ‘You Make It Look So Easy’ by Eric Church and then ‘I’m Gonna Miss Her’ by Brad Paisley because it’s a bit of an inside joke.
