@linnylou_88:  Yea – I’ve only been married for twenty-something days and I don’t wear my e-ring on the weekends or when I’m at home.  I like just the look of my plain band 🙂

Absolutely!  I wanted my nice diamond band specifically for that reason.

Here are both together (garnet is the stone)

I don’t even have my band yet, and I looove my e-ring – but I’m really looking forward to feeling a little more careless when I just have a simple band that is much less likely to get damaged.

yes, mine are not a set, not only would they clash terribly, but my fingers are far too small to wear 2 rings at once.  IMO I think it’s kinda ridiculous to do that.  I was actally really suprized to learn that that’s what you’re “supposed” to do.

I haven’t bought my band yet, but I really want a band that can be worn on its own.  My e-ring is a cathedral setting and sometimes at work I just want something simple that won’t get in the way.  I will likely get a plain palladium band to match my e-ring.

@linnylou_88:  I love your band, it does look great on it’s own :)!

I sometimes wear my band alone, I sometimes like the simple look of it. I also find it more comfotable, if I’m just at home or w/e to have just my band.

I cant wear my band alone because it has a curve in it so it fits around my engagment ring. It would look really odd if I wore it on its own

I don’t yet have my band, but I will totally be rocking it alone most of the time. The two are not a set, would look terrible together, and mostly I just want to be able to not have to worry about my e-ring all the time. My wedding band is a plain gold band.

I didn’t know I was supposed to wear them together?!? Am I supposed to wear my e-ring all the time?

For many years, I wore plain bands. I had a wide gold one with detailing on it, which I still love, but can’t wear because my fingers got too big for it. It can’t be resized. After that, I alternated between 2 or 3 different silver bands, which I stacked with a narrower engraved silver band. I should probably snap a pic of it, but I never have.

I have always worn mine together; however, my mom wore her wedding band by itself for years while I was growing up.

@linnylou_88:  Of course I do! The band alone is so pretty. I have a 2.5mm eternity band with some reaaally nice clear diamonds. I can see it in all it’s gorgeousness when it’s alone. I love that look!

I love yours too, it’s very elegant. Totally gorgeous alone!

I wear my wedding band (YG channel set) alone, with the anniversary band (YG channel set) or with the ering. Sometimes I wear a plain WG band, the ering and my Grandmother’s wedding band. I also have a titanium band that I wear alone when I work with animals.

Sometimes I wear nothing.

@elspeth:  I love your garnet.

I plan on buying a band that can be worn on its own. That way I can wear it while I work, right now I cant wear my e-ring without wearing a latex glove over it.

I don’t but that’s only because it’s slightly too large and I’m worried it would slip off if my ering wasn’t holding it on. I’m waiting until it’s a bit warmer to get it resized so that I don’t make it too small.
