95% sure I’m gonna be rocking a pair of bridal Toms. Mainly because my ceremony is outside and I just have nightmares about sinking into the grass. Also, because realistically I know heels won’t last all day, so I should just start flat from the get-go.. 🙂 (My Fiance has a good 7 inches on my!)

@drlolaz: oh hot damn those shoes are so cute.
it almost makes me like flats.
my idea of flats are a ragged pair of flip flops

I own those shoes as every day shoes, and after the first few wears they didn’t hurt so much anymore. They are surprisingly durable for Payless shoes. I only got them because I was suckered in by the glitter. 😀

@futuremrswood25: My dress will cover my feet, and my goal is comfot. While I love flats- I’m not wearing nylons, and most shoes aren’t breathable enough and end up making even the lovliest feet sweaty. So I found these- and I’m actually pretty excited!
I’m having them made in a black velveteen fabric (I’m wearing a black grosgrain sash)

@futuremrswood25 Yes they have glitter! And stripes and all sorts! I have these ones (plus three more)
But here are a couple more for you 😉 and remember these are all customisable! So don’t like the heel height? You can tweak it! 😀
I will also just add that I do not work for them! lol I just love them. I have fat, wide feet so I am thrilled to be able to get such beautiful shoes without quite so much pain and shoe-horning!

I’m wearing Toms! They are the blue sparkly ones from their wedding line. It’s my “something blue” and it also matches the blue that my bridesmaids are going to be wearing

I wore flats and loved it! So comfy! And as I’m already 5’11”, I didn’t exactly need any extra height on my wedding day. 😉
I always recommend Zappos for shoes because you can search by heel height and color (if you want color). Plus, free shipping both ways!

@CARA1978: My BMs wore those shoes and said they weren’t very comfortable. I bought them all those fast flats things to change in to, and no one changed!
I wore Dyeables Anette, the same shoes that @thumpurr: is getting, but I removed that rhinestone thing, added a bow, and painted them with glitter paint. They KILLED my feet–I had blisters on my toes and my heels, and the glitter paint effectively turned them into sandpaper. For some reason, this meant that I kept kicking myself in the ankle while walking and scraped the shit out of both ankles. I should have just worn my fast flats, but I changed into the ASAP at the reception.

@vorpalette: Did the glitter paint cause the problem then? Or was it the shoes? I have not ordered them yet, and comfort is really important. I will only be buying one pair of shoes, so I will have them on for at least 7-8 hours. I am glad some one else has bought them so I can see if they are worth spending the money on. Did you find that the shoes fit true to size?
@thumpurr: The glitter paint caused the issue with my ankles, but the blisters were caused by the shoes themselves. They were pretty true to size–I wear anywhere from a 7 to an 8, got these in 7.5, and they fit just fine. The problem is that they’re very stiff, and also that I just do not have good luck wearing flats like that (the only flats I can stand to wear without giving me a million blisters are the scruch flats from Payless). Honestly, I’d suggest something else, but I know other people wear other kinds of flats just fine.

@dressedinlovexo: ooo-ahhh, where did you buy them from?? if you dont mind me asking 🙂

@dressedinlovexo: I LOVE those! May I ask where you purchased them? Our wedding is on the beach and those are perfect for my gold/coral theme!
