Everyone’s rings are gorgous! Here’s my modified halo setting — the halo is interrupted by a prong at each “corner” (the stone is an oval) and there are diamonds on the prongs as well. I love it!

I like to think mine is unique! Maybe its wishful thinking, but I have had a ton of people tell me they have never seen a ring like mine. And honestly, I haven’t ever seen anyone with a princess that is quarter-turned like mine! Hopefully it stays that way! 🙂

I don’t know if there is a Zales by you, but the one in our mall had an awesome halo ring with a plain shank. It wasn’t on their website, but they had it in the store.
Also, I’ve seen some pretty sweet halos at Costco!!!

I, unfortunately, don’t have a halo setting. However, I do want to throw my 2cents in…
Personally, I only thing that its seems “trendy” because we are on the Bee! We have a large population of ladies. I’ve actually never seen anyone with a halo setting while out and about before.
I recently had the pleasure of being an adviser to 2 different men looking for rings for their ladies. I told both about halo rings based on what they described. One picked a halo setting, she loves it! She told me she had never even heard of it or seen it before. The second picked out an eternity band for his wife and she was thrilled. She just told me the other night that he had showed her the halo look I had described to him, and while she liked it, it just wasn’t her.
Oh, and might I add, I love every one of the rings so far!

When my fiance and I picked out my engagement ring, the store had your typical solataire settings or obstuse channel set, neither of which I liked until I randomly came across this set. I love all things vintage and this suited me well.

Just went to look at rings today (SO told me to a while ago). The Halo was all I would try on, my eye ALWAYS goes to that. All these pictures are beautiful and made me 10x more excited!! Hopefully I will join Club Halo someday, too. I can’t see how these could ever go out of style.

I love the halo setting and think that because it does look like an antique it will always be classic. Here is a poor pic of mine that I took during our honeymoon (thank god because our photog totally forgot to take a closeup of the rings).

Don’t stress; if you feel like it looks dated someday, just reset it. My halo, a Henri Daussi cushion (love it!):

Mine is a halo and I LOVE it! Mine is a little different though because it’s emerald cut and most are round or cushion..

I love Halo settings
My Engagement Ring is a halo and I have paired it with a solitaire wrap as my wedding band. I love that it looks vintage and delicate. I am a sucker for anything vintage and unique. I still get so happy looking at it.
