I’m visiting a new hair salon soon and they do amazing, natural-looking hair extensions. I’d be really tempted to try some for my engagement shoot (and potentially the wedding next year). Just something natural, wee bit longer than my own hair, and a bit more volume (I have boring, fine hair, but lots of it!)
Have any of you tried extensions before? What are they like? I’ve got my eye on the keratin bond ones, as they’re allegedly the least damaging, but I’ve got no idea whether that’s true!

I wouldn’t recommend Keratin Bonds. My mum had them and didn’t really like them. She had to use specific shampoo because any shampoo with protein (I think) in it dissolved the glue.
Her hair is pretty thin too, and the extensions are quite noticeable sometimes.
She uses clip ins now, which she says are far more comfortable (she couldn’t sleep in the bonded one for 2-3 nights after having them put in) I have some clip ins too which my Hairdresser is putting in tomorrow as a trial for the Wedding. My hair is pretty long but a bit thin on the end so I wanted to bulk it out a bit.

stephisaur: Hmm maybe I’ll just need to get good quality clip-ins then. Thanks!

celticbride2017: I ordered my clip-ins from Amazon (I know, right?!), and they are amazing. They’re by a company called Tressmatch. I’ve had them for 1.5 years now, and they still look great. Highly recommend. I think they were around $75-100.
