- Wedding: September 2015 - Hotel Ballroom
When I was in college I was a fulltime student maintaining an 3.6 GPA, worked for the school newspaper and held down two part time jobs (so that equalled about 50 hours between the two). I don’t remember sleeping much for those few years, and I once took too many caffeine pills by accident and was hospitalized. I can honestly say if it wasn’t for the weed I’d have had a nervous breakdown!
Best of luck! It’s totally worth it in the end 🙂

I worked full time and went to school full time all through my AAS and BA degrees. Now that I’m working on my MFA, I’m working full time and studying half time, but I may go to school full time some quarters, depending on finances. (I would go to school full time, but I’m on a tuition waiver that restricts me to one class per quarter. The waiver doesn’t cover all types of classes, though, and so there are some classes that I’m just going to have to pay out of pocket. For the quarters during which I take those classes, I’ll probably go full time.)

I work full time and I’m in my second year doing my Masters in Law. I won’t lie, it’s hard but it’s very rewarding when I see my results. For the weeks when an assignment is due and during exam period my wonderful OH provides me with dinners and is a sounding board when I am stressed but it’s very doable, with the right support both at home and at work.

I started working full time in a corporate setting while finishing writing my disseration. I worked a lot of 15 hour days and cried a lot lol, but it was rewarding. I wanted both but I would definitely have staggered the timeline if I’d have had the option. But I was pretty adamant that we not get engaged/wedding plan till that was over. He proposed two days before my final defense! 🙂
