I use the Diva Cup and I love it.  No pain!  You just have to get used to inserting it and taking it out because it is quite different from a tampon, of course.

I couldn’t do it. It just grossed me out and made me crampy. I use the cotton pads now….not store bought, like sewn fabric ones that you wash and reuse. They are so amazing, I would never go back to the store ones. I think the chemicals in them make you bleed more since they’re meant to be absorbent? Because I was always super crampy and heavy, but not since the switch!

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: lol I googled it too… I read some reviews and they sound great… I think I have to try this out.

I am wondering how people know when they are full?

They are not the most comfortable and messy.  Lasted with me for three hours.  Nope will stick to the stuff I am used to.

@tksjewelry: Yeah, I was thinking getting that puppy out would pose a bit of an inconvenience.

Tampons are super uncomfortable for me so I don’t know if this would help or be worse… lol I keep reading how clean they are but… I can’t imagine how. lol

@MrsDulce:  Err I dont know about that, since a pad is just collecting the blood/lining that your uterus is already shedding.

I use tampons and they are fine for me. The cup thing seems gross..and weird.

I can’t stand tampons but I love my Diva cup. It did take me a few tries to get used to inserting it so it didn’t leak though.

As for knowing when they’re full.. well even on my heaviest day it’s not full. You can wear it for up to 12 hours so I usually just do a switch in the morning and evening which works out well.

Ummm I have ALWAYS been heavy since the beginning and especially after kids….I would NOT wanna take it out. Im good with a pad, too heavy for a tampon even. It sucks. I seriously cannot function like the 1st cpl days

@Ms. Martian: thanks for answering! This was a head scratcher. I definitely think I’m going to give them a shot!
