Does anyone know if the BHLDN willowby dresses are different than the watters willowby dresses?

ie.  my dress is called the rosalind gown on BHLDN but the Madeira gown on the watters website. Are they the exact same but named individually for each site?

I’m sorry to hear that!  It’s a gorgeous dress. But I can see how it would be difficult with the intricate neckline. Have you tried consulting a few alterations places?  I know some are just more skilled than others.

At the very least, you only spent $99 and can always resell it. What’s the size?

I looooved this dress from the moment I first saw it (on pinterest, I think?) and was so excited that my dress shop carried it, I was sure that was going to be the one…and then I tried it on and it just didn’t look that great on me. I still think it’s a gorgeous dress and absolutely loved the skirt on it!!

(don’t mind my face haha)

Wow that looks really similar and also by Watters. I think because it’s considered a “bridesmaids” dress even though it’s so similar to the Penelope, the price is so much better!  You can always order both and try them on and see what you think. I love that with buying from retailers you can always return if you’re not satisfied.

misschic94 :  Here’s a size 2 that someone is selling for $700- https://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/dresses/view/207085/BHLDN-penelope-wedding-dress-Size-2.html

I didn’t end up choosing the Penelope but it was at the top of my list when I started dress shopping. Loved how soft and dreamy it was, but I didn’t like the illusion neckline on me. Wearing the sash in the below pics, which I like better than a sparkly belt.

The alternative blush dress from Nordstrom looks very similar to Penelope, it’s worth buying just to try it on. Nordstrom has a great return policy if it doesn’t work out.

misschic94 :   Mikaila :  Thanks girls, I recommend every bride-to-be try on Penelope because it’s one of those dresses that seems to look great on almost every body type. I ended up saying yes to this dress (which really surprised me, but in the best way possible!).
