Have you already delt with getting an apostille on your documents? I’m sending me and FI’s off to the SOS…but I was unclear if his divorce decree needed an apostille, so I guess I”m sending it too just in case…..but one thing I”m not clear on is hwere we get it translated?!
Do we take it to th emexican embassy?

We are planning on getting married in Mexico and I think ALL of your documents need to be apostilled. Do you have a wedding planner at the wedding location? He or she should be able to give you a definite answer. Where in Mexico are you having your wedding?

In San Luis Potosi. We do not have a wedding planner persay, we do have relatives helping us along the way, but they don’t have all the answers, we are kind figuring this out as we go. I went ahead and sent all our documents for an apostille, so I just have to figure out the translation when they get back. I’m doing reseach, some sites say take them to the mexican embassy, so I’ll try calling the embassy in Seattle.
