I was an “un-bride” myself… I had never cared or thought about marriage. Well, the ring unleashed a beast! I am wedding OBSESSED. It’s unhealthy.
I actually just signed up for a sewing class because I decided I need another hobby besides planning my wedding. lol of course my first thought was “Now I can use my skills to sew the table runners & napkins.” Yeah… obsessed. lol

*hides in her closet*
I have never thought about my wedding before I had my ring. Sure, I knew I was going to get married but never how it was going to happen.
But, I have been obsessed. All my extra time or that time I should be using to study is going to wedding this or that and my diy to do list is growing because well I’m crafty and I know that I’m able to make some of these things for less money but I forget that I might not have the time! lol.
It’s going to be a long two year engagment …lol
but I kind of already knew that I was …a control freak though..I don’t like to admit it 😀

Me… I actually have never even attended weddings. I’ve only been to … 1 and a half ( I count the second one as a half). I’m the first to get married too.
So at first I didn’t even start planning … until like a month or so after I got engaged. I didn’t even buy bridal magazines, didn’t know there were BOOKS on weddings and I certainly had no clue that there were entire websites full of wedding related info.
Rush ahead 6 months … which it has been 6 months I guess since I actually started to plan (engaged day after Valentines day) and I am a complete addict.
I stalk all of my favorite wedding blogs and I am literally in a trance when I’m reading them … earth to MsHymanRoth, your fiance is sad you have morphed into a non-person/blogger bride-to-be … he thinks I live in my laptop =) LOL. I also have all the issues of wedding magazines as soon as they are on the news stand and I am .. yeah obsessed.

i’m the other way around. i always thought i’d be bridezilla the moment we got engaged, but i’m such an unbride/failbride. i ocd plan things, but for the wedding stuff i tend to put off doing a lot of stuff. i do a lot of research, but i don’t make a lot of decisions. i also don’t get all googly-giggly when people ask me when my planning is going, and then they look at me like i’m a grinch. :p

I was one of those girls who didn’t dream about their wedding day AT ALL, but found the concepts of swordfighting and quidditch fascinating. Then I met my boyfriend. And I decided that I really, really, really wanted to get married.
At this point, I’ll probably be able to talk with Mr. Minutiae after the engagement about what we want, execute the plans in a month or three, and then sit back and watch the magic unfold! *brushes hands off* Done and done.
Obsessive pre-planning FTW!

I’ve never dreamed about my wedding (my dolls always had husbands but I didn’t care how they got them) but I have always known that I was a teensy bit OCD about details.
When Mr Moo and I started talking about getting engaged I did start planning a little bit but I was more into reading about other weddings. Now however I’m on the net whenever I can checking up on WeddingBee, StyleMePretty and various other blogs to get ideas and inspiration.
I’m also really excited for when my wedding is over and I can help new brides! I don’t think the obsession ever stops – I think you just channel it in different ways 🙂
