I’d love to hear about your experience and recommendations.
A decent caterer will charge me $10K to serve apps for cocktail hour, setup a buffet and will provide the serving dishes/utensils.
I know $10K is a good value for our party given the quality of their food. However, I just having trouble coming to terms with the cost. I’m wrestling with the idea of doing a food truck. but I worry it will take away from the “romantic and warm” atmosphere I’m trying to achieve.
The most economical would be the In-N-Out truck, but I’d prefer a truck serving food that requires a fork and knife.

I’m also looking into a food truck for my wedding, but i’m in NYC. I have friends with a killer food truck in LA, but, unfortunately, it’s not fork and knife kinda stuff….

Thanks for the tips, Sienna76. I’ve done my research. Searched blogs, food truck websites and more.
I’m looking for specific tips and reccs from brides who have decided on it or have already pulled it off.
I read a couple blogs about trucks that didn’t show up on time or were short-staffed for one reason or another. That sounds like a nightmare to me, and seem to be the exception rather than the norm.
kariface, what’s the name of the truck? I’d prefer fork and knife food, but I’m pretty open. what’s the truck?
