We are having a very traditional wedding and I’m in denial about not eloping (SIGH) so this is my dress:

It’s called the Honey Dress by Trashy Diva – they have it in quite a few other colors, too!
I bought it directly from the designer’s website.

I don’t usually wear white, but I figured what the hell, it’s my wedding – who cares.
If I had my choice I’d wear an over-the-top fancy black gown, but like I said, I never wear white and this is probably the only time I will hahaha

This photo is a bit old, so no long veil, off-white shoes, and there’s a teal petticoat underneath. And uhm… nicer hair hahaha

Have you looked at some of the dresses on Rent the Runway?
They have some AMAZEBALLS dresses and gowns on there, and it could be super fun to just wear a big-name designer dress for the day!

I wore a deep purple wedding dress! Everyone that saw it loved it. The ‘white’ tradition started with Queen Victoria…before that women just wore their best dress so if youbwant to wear colour then go for it!

I’m still away…we just got married a week ago but I will be posting pics when I get back

@ShabbyChicBee:  Our wedding is DIY punk-rock and this is the dress I ordered. I like to call myself classy w/ a good dose off-beat. I love the fact it’s a good blanace of black and white. That’s not a photo of me in the dress, just the dress I ordered.

@mreject:  That dress is beyond amazing! Please post pics when your dress comes in.
