My hair color is pretty close to your color (if not a tad darker), and I’m pale too.

I went blonde many years ago.  I loved it and if it wasn’t for money I would have stayed that way.   My hair dresser did a BUNCH of thick heavy highlights.  So I was stripy for about a month, then she did the same thing again and it turned out really well.  To take care of roots, I would go in every 6 weeks and she would weave just the roots.

I have a picture somewhere on this computer if you want to see how light I went. It was a darker blonde

Here are a few, sorry if they are so big, no idea how to resize.

The second one was taken to show a friend the color, I had the blonde like a year at that point. It looks a little darker in pictuers than it was in person.

I went blonde for awhile and it looked great, but the upkeep was a bummer–I think every 4-6 weeks or so I had to get the roots done. If you’re thinking of something drastic, I would make sure you have a hair stylist who has a really good feel for your style and whose judgment you’re really confident in. My hair stylist is the one who talked me into going lighter, and I trusted her and went with it and loved it! Kept it for about 2 years, but now I’m brunette again because 1) it’s easy; 2) it’s cheap; 3) WAY too many blondes in Dallas…I feel more unique with brown hair! 🙂

p.s. I know these are ridiculous pictures, but the best ones I could find of hair color!

Go for it! I think it will look great and it’ll change things up for you. I was blond as a little girl. As I got older my hair turned to the dreaded “dirty blond” but had a lot of natural red and blond highlights. In 8th grade I put in some very thin, blended highlights and loved it. Over time I added more and more and now I’m blond for life! I still have my natural base, but I add in lots of blond highlights every 3 months or so, with red lowlights to keep some dimension. I love it.

One tip: the skinnier and more “blended” you go, the longer you can go in between appointments. Good luck!

I like the brown better! But if you want a fun change, I say go for it! It’s only hair, it grows back and you can change it anytime you want to.

I like the brunette you have now (And I’m one of those people that lives for blonde hair lol)…but in your case the dark hair makes your eyes really stand out! But I say go for it! You can change it back if you decide that you don’t completely love it:)
