We booked my bachlorette party for San Diego! I am so excited, I have not been to CA yet and I am hoping I can get some good ideas for things to do in the San Diego area. We are going in early September if this influences anything. Thanks!!

You guys could go on a 1/2 day sailing trip, go clubbing in the downtown area, I think there’s a pretty legendary drag bar…i’m trying to figure this out, too – I grew up in SD, but haven’t lived there since I was 12. I’m going back to get married in September, but obviously I wasn’t exactly club hopping at age 12…

The legendary drag bar is called Lips. I’ve been and it was fun, but it’s definitely not everyone’s style.
I’ve answered a lot of posts about SD night stuff so search for some of them!
My favorite downtown spots:
Rooftop bars: JBar, Altitude
Other bars: Basic, Confidential
Clubs: Fluxx, Stingaree
Piano Bar: The Shout House (super fun for a bachelorette)
Food: Gaslamp Strip Club (cook own steaks), Bice (Italian), Basic (Pizza)
Breakfast: Zanzibar, The Broken Yolk
Hotel Pools: The Ivy, The Hard Rock Hotel
PM me if you want any help…I go out all the time and can help with anything!

San Diego is pretty huge. Where are you staying, and what do you like to do? What’s your budget like? I love going kayaking in La Jolla and going to the local craft breweries. My favorite is Stone Brewery. They do free tours with tastings and have a gorgeous beer garden. It’s in Escondido, so you would need a car. Wine tasting in tamecula and gambling at the casinos is also popular.
