I’m not a Charleston bride, but I will be moving there after the wedding to live with my fiance. He lives in Mt P. I’m getting a little nervous about the move!

@Ms.Teddy- Sorry this post is coming 5 months after yours.. I’m not too weddingbee.com savvy. We paid $4,000 for all day house and garden rental at The Thomas Bennett House. We surprisingly went in October and booked June 26. Linda McCormick is the house manager. She is the main point of contact. She is very sweet and easy to work with. She rents to brides at a first come first serve basis. It’s beautiful and I would def suggest it to any bride looking for a classic Charleston indoor/outdoor garden wedding.

@Ms.Teddy- That’s wonderful news!!!!!!!!!! How fun! I’ll be sure and share our pictures from our upcoming June wedding so you can see how we utilized the yard, house etc 🙂 We too are having the ceremony and reception at the Thomas Bennett. We are using A Charleston Event & Bridal Library for our Wedding Coordinator. Elyn Rahman is so sweet and knows everyone in Charleston to help you with vendors.

When my fiance and I left the Thomas Bennett after first going to look at it.. we got into our rental car.. stared at eachother and both had chills while we said.. “that’s it” “that’s where we are going to get married, it’s perfect.”

Hey ladies! I’m a Charleston bride! We’re getting married November 4, 2011 at Hampton Park by the Citadel followed by the reception at The Old Exchange! Does anyone have good ideas for places to take photos around town??
